I've been an engineering school undergraduate, a middle school Latin teacher, and now a librarian. I work for Unglue.it, a crowdfunding platform supporting the rerelease of ebooks under Creative Commons licenses. I do web development, communication, outreach, and basically whatever else needs doing. I'm also involved with ALA, as the founding cochair of the Library Code Year interest group and a member of the LITA National Forum 2013 planning committee. Oh, and I'm running for LITA Board as a director-at-large for 2013-2016, and if you're a LITA member or thinking about it, I would love it if you checked out my campaign site (http://thatandromeda.github.com/lita/) and all the other candidates too (http://www.ala.org/lita/about/election). Thanks!

My professional interests include ebooks, copyright, personal branding, and promoting an inclusive, diverse, optimistic technology culture.
